POLL: If God and Jesus are all loving, then why do they want to kill us off?

January 1st, 2000. May 21st, 2011. December 21st 2012. Damn, my 30th birthday is Monday and my gf's dad's birthday is *gasp!* right now!!! About 2012, Wow, if the Mayans couldn't even predict their own demise from the Europeans, what makes people think they will know when and how we are going to die? On that note about death, why do we always have to "kill ourselves off" to make the world and afterlife (if we've got one) seem valid? I would think the world ending would most likely done by us destroying ourselves, rather than a supernatural or Godly one. Who's with me on this? Is Harold and his self-proclaimed "astonishing discovery based on HIS calculations" a nut job and a false prophet? I think he has Alzheimer's. No disrespect to the real people that have the disorder, just Harold...or Howard, whatever.
